"I know something feels off!"
A homeopath can work with a person who only has the 'feeling' that something is off and it is not necessary to have a referral or a diagnosis.
What to expect?
A session is either a 1/2 hour or a 1 hour after the initial session of 1 1/2-2 hours. As well as suggesting homeopathic remedies, other methods are available to improve one's health.
How often are appointments?
Usually there are one or two sessions to explore the best course of action and then follow up sessions every 4 to 5 weeks.
When a healthy balance is regained, sessions can be once in a while or whenever a situation arises and the person would like further support.
How long will the healing process take?
Every situation is individual. Some issues may be resolved in a matter of days, other cases might take longer.
Are there side-effects?
Since homeopathic remedies are not chemically based there is no forcing, stopping or suppressing natural processes. Often a remedy is taken only once to provide the necessary signal and the body does the rest naturally.
Who can try homeopathy?
Adults of any age, babies, children, pregnant women, pets, and with professional considerations, anyone undergoing medical treatments. Homeopathy can also be a compassionate palliative support or a part of a exploratory spiritual process.
What is homeopathy?
Globally there are teams of doctors, biologists, physicists, scientists and researchers studying and exploring homeopathy and its accompanying remedies. Millions of people around the world practice and use homeopathy. There were many homeopathic hospitals in Canada and the US. The Montreal Homeopathic Hospital was a high quality hospital open from 1894 until 1951 and pioneered the first post-operative recovery room in Canada among many other medical firsts.
Homeopathy is about energy rather than matter so it operates following the science of quantum mechanics (the wave) rather than mechanistic physics (the particle). Since homeopathy is energetic in nature, it does not deplete resources to make remedies and so has a distinct sustainable advantage to modalities such as Herbology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, or the use of supplements and medications.
Lastly it is not a stand alone modality but a part of a complete medical system defined by Hippocrates that includes Naturopathy as well as Traditional Western Medicine.
Homeopathy is gentle, safe and effective.

Associate member of the Canadian Society of Homeopaths Associate member of the West Coast Homeopathic Society
I am a graduate of the Montreal Institute of Classical Homeopathy (MICH) Homeopathic-Naturopathic program. I began my career in the healing arts studying Jin Shin Do Acupressure on Lasqueti Island and later trained at the Montreal Gongfu Research Centre where traditional Chinese medicine is combined with martial arts.
To help support healing practitioners I helped to cofound the Montreal Healing Arts Community, a non-profit offering networking with outreach and education to the healing community. I also organized a volunteer support group for social phobias.
Currently I am secretary of the HTSF-Canada Board of Directors. HTSF-Canada is dedicated to the practical transfer of homeopathic knowledge which directly supports promoting the sustainable development of communities and improving remote and/or impoverished regions with greater autonomy as well as developing homeopathy as part of integrative medical practices.
"Lauren has a gift for holding space that lets others see something deeper within themselves and to help them focus on what needs to be explored for a return to health. Having a life-long study in the principles of health and nature, she shares this knowledge and experience with her clients."
